DRAWING IN PARIS

Ok, cette semaine est de loin la plus productive et la plus "challenging" que j'ai eu. Il y avait beaucoup de boulots à rendre à l'école et pfffff, j'ai dû faire des nuits blanches, ça c'est le côté obscure. Ce qui était vachement cool c'était de voir une interview de Carlos Grangel,(un master en chara design, la vidéo est par ici) et de réaliser à quel point des formes et des silhouettes étaient importantes dans un design. Je me suis alors donné un petit challenge , copier des silhouettes et des formes que je voyais dans le métro et après essayer d'en faire des personnages, inventer des petites histoires et libérer mon imagination . Ce fut une expérience enrichissante. imagination. Ce fut une très belle expérience, j'ai beaucoup appris.

Ok, I think this week was the most productive and challenging  for me ever. There was so much school stuff to do that I had no time to sleep hmmm...it was the tough part. The fun part is that I'm discovering the power of Shapes and Silhouettes thanks to Carlos Grangel (great character designer ) and his inspiring interview (see it here) . It's really fun to draw silhouettes of people and create a character out of it, invent a story out of it, and just let my imagination flow. It has been a really good experience, I've learnt a lot.

Ok! too much face drawing over here, sorry if it's getting boring but I'm just experimenting with shapes and can't stop drawing people in the subway ...and I just love to share those weird things :)
